Terms of use.

The rules for using Squadroom, written to be read. We ask you to accept them when you first sign in.

Version 1, 30 September 2026

1. What Squadroom is

Squadroom is an application for running futsal and football clubs: the squad, training, tactics, call-ups, the match, health and, if the club uses it, club management. These terms apply to whoever uses the application. The first time you sign in, and whenever the version changes, we ask you to accept them.

2. Accounts

  • Accounts exist only on a club's invitation. Each account is personal: do not share it or give your password to anyone else.
  • Keep your email and, if the club uses club management, your authenticator secure. If you suspect misuse, tell your club and write to us.
  • Your role in the club (manager, coach, physio, player) is decided by the club and sets what you see.

3. The club's data

  • The data a club records belongs to the club. We do not use it for commercial purposes, advertising or sale; we process it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.
  • The club is responsible for what it records and for having the legal basis to do so, including guardians' authorisation for minors' accounts and data, and care with health data.
  • Whoever records other people's data must do so accurately and only as far as their role in the club justifies.
  • The club can export its season at any time and ask for its data to be deleted.

4. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Try to reach another club's or another role's data, or get around the access rules.
  • Attack, overload, bulk-copy or reverse-engineer the service.
  • Record unlawful or offensive content, or data about people without a basis for it.
  • Use Squadroom to send advertising or for purposes unrelated to the club.

5. Squady

Squady is an artificial intelligence assistant and can be wrong. Check what it proposes before saving it: nothing is recorded without a yes from whoever asked, and Squady never publishes anything to the squad. What you write to Squady is processed by external providers, as described in the privacy policy.

6. What Squadroom does not do

  • It gives no medical advice: notes and recovery plans belong to whoever writes them.
  • It does not replace the federation's systems: club management is kept by hand, alongside, and nothing is sent to the FPF or the associations. Whether a registration or an exam is valid is what the official bodies recognise.
  • It does not collect money or issue invoices: it records what the club received.
  • It sends nothing to players or parents: no messages and no emails, by any means.

7. Availability

We do our best to keep the service available and the data safe, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or provider failures. Some features are in beta and may change. The match console needs an internet connection.

8. Plans and commercial terms

Some features may be paid. The conditions, price and period are agreed directly with each club.

9. Ownership

The software, the Squadroom name and brand are ours. The content a club creates (plans, drills, tactics, records) belongs to the club; the club gives us only the right to store it and show it to whoever it authorises, to provide the service.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on the application's data, such as calling up a player whose exam or registration was not in order, nor for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives consumers.

11. Suspension and ending

The club can stop using Squadroom at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms or puts the service or other clubs at risk, telling the club whenever possible.

12. Changes

If these terms change, the version changes and we ask you to accept them again at your next sign-in. The previous version stops applying from that acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes are settled by the competent Portuguese courts, without prejudice to alternative consumer dispute resolution.
